Harper Beckham offered a modeling job

By Tribute on May 2, 2012 | 7 Comments

At only nine months old, Harper Beckham may be about to embark on a modeling career. Born to Victoria and David Beckham last July, the baby has been offered her first gig. E! News confirms that U.K.’s leading personalized baby gift manufacturer My1stYears.com has offered Harper a job and is willing to pay a significant amount for her beauty. Child labor laws prevent them from directly arranging a contract with baby Harper, so the company will have to negotiate a fee with her parents. In a letter addressed to Harper, they wrote, “We are happy to speak with [your parents] about your fee; however, we are prepared to pay you a significant amount to be the face of our new range.”  The letter also said, “Both your parents are fashion icons, and we can see no reason why you shouldn’t start your own career in the fashion industry even at a young age.” There has been no word yet on whether Harper and her parents are accepting the modeling offer or not. ~Krystin Edgerton

Damn, that baby already has the thousand yard stare.

People were always saying that I should put my little girl into modeling when she was a baby. I said NO because I didn’t want to exploit her. This sort of thing can put undo pressure on a kid.

To people like these, it’s all about business… the business of fame and fortune. These people are probably pitched on a daily basis with ways they can profit from their fame… This is nothing more than a business deal. What would be nice however is if they donated the money they earn from this (they’re already rich enough) to a legitimate children’s charity where we can all view their donation on a website. I often don’t believe the sums they say celebrities donate.

“Child labor laws prevent them from directly arranging a contract with baby Harper, so the company will have to negotiate a fee with her parents.” Seriously?? this was a necessary statement? She’s NINE MONTHS OLD!

there are many children out there that are cuter than Harper! an open casting call should have been made! it’s not like she needs the money lol

Cute isn’t always photogenic….this kid couldn’t fail with her genes.

Not only is this baby girl gorgeous but so are her three brothers, absolutely beautiful children with good genes from their parents. As far as good looks go this family rates a 10/10. This is a story not a commitment! The Beckhams are not stupid and what they do would be in the best interest of their baby girl that they’ve waited for so long.
