Spring is around the corner and Netflix’s March list shows a selection of fresh new content as well as some award-nominated films. Check out the list below!
Originals:
The limited series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (Mar. 20) is based on the incredible true story of Madam C.J. Walker (Octavia Spencer), who was the first African American female self-made millionaire.
Spanish original series Elite returns with another season on March 13, promising more high school drama and mystery. When another classmate is killed, a new investigation ensues. The students look toward their future, while the consequences of the past haunt them.
Emmy-winning series Ozark is returning to the streamer on March 27 with a third season. Jason Bateman will be back as Marty Byrde, Laura Linney as Wendy and Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore.
Original film Spenser Confidential (Mar. 6) is an action/comedy to watch starring Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke. Just out of prison and investigating a twisted murder, Spenser is sucked back into Boston’s underbelly.
Drama
Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet star in the romantic drama Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Mar. 1). What happens if you undergo an experimental procedure to remove all memories of your ex? Watch this one to find out.
Brad Pitt stars in the Oscar-nominated sports drama Moneyball (Mar. 1), based on a true story of taking on the system in baseball.
Nominated for Best Picture Oscar, Phantom Thread (Mar. 1) is a American-British period romantic drama set in the haute couture world of London in the 1950s.
Comedy
There’s a whole selection of comedy films available for streaming this month. What a Girl Wants (Mar. 1) follows a spirited young American girl (Amanda Bynes) who travels to London in search of her long-lost father (Colin Firth), an influential aristocratic politician.
When she’s dumped by her husband, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna (Melissa McCarthy) decides to upgrade her skills and enrolls in college, but winds up in the same class as her daughter, who’s less than pleased by this latest turn of events in Life of the Party (Mar. 24).
In Pitch Perfect 3 (Mar. 1), to keep the group together, the Bellas jump at the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, although they first have to face competition from other performers. ~Marriska Fernandes

The 2022 Emmy nominations were announced today. Succession took the lead with 25 nominations. Notably, Zendaya received three nominations for Euphoria.
