Hilary Duff throws baby shower for Haylie

Hilary Duff threw a baby shower for her sister over the weekend.

The 27-year-old actress – who has son Luca, two, with estranged husband Mike Comrie – teamed up with her mother Susan Colleen to invite around 40 friends and family members to celebrate older sibling Haylie Duff and her husband Matt Rosenburg’s impending new arrival; and the mother-to-be had the ”best day.”

She wrote on Instagram: ”Had the best day celebrating our baby. Coco chillin in my flower crown…#MHBabyLove. (sic)”

The celebration took place at Hilary’s house on Saturday, March 7 and guests including Lauren Conrad, Kaley Cuoco, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Ali Fedotowsky, Lacey Chabert, Beverly Mitchell and Joanna Garcia tucked into pink donuts, cake pops, cupcakes and ice cream.

The group also enjoyed using a floral station where they crafted bouquets in mason jars and made garlands for their hair.

Hilary tweeted afterwards: ”Sissy @haylieduff you are the most beautiful sister/mom to be and I love you so much! Happy baby shower day! Thank you to so many for coming and a big thanks to @donatiennela @hannahskvarla @ashleybeverly @thecrowncollective @lowenban @realjoseph #mhbabylove (sic).”

Haylie, 30, first announced she was expecting a baby of her own on Instagram back in December.

She captioned an image of some baby Nike Jordan trainers: ”Happiest girl in the world! Finally can let everyone know that Matty @mr_sts and I are expecting! #BabysFirstJordans. (sic)”
