Canadian comedian Howie Mandel, most recently seen as a judge on America’s Got Talent, has been chosen to host this year’s Canada’s Walk of Fame. The event will take place at Toronto’s Canon Theatre on October 16 and will honor seven inductees, including Nelly Furtado and Sarah Polley. Performers at the ceremony include Paul Anka, Burton Cummings and Buffy Sainte-Marie. Mandel, who was inducted into the Walk of Fame himself last year, told Global News: “Last year as I received my award, I did not bring my acceptance speech. Preparation is not my strong point. That alone is reason to tune in to this year’s Canadian Walk of Fame.” The ceremony will air October 20 on Global TV.

LOVE Howie! Would love to attend this one! Don’t believe this guy would ever need a prep speech, he is such a talented witty guy!
