Identity Thief steals top spot at box office

The hilarious duo of Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman stole the No. 1 spot this week when their hit comedy Identity Thief brought in an estimated $36.6 million and 3.5 stars from Tribute.ca users. Warm Bodies dropped to second place in its second week out and brought in $11.5 million at the box office and 4.4 stars. Close behind in third was the new Steven Soderbergh thriller Side Effects, which earned $10 million and 4.3 stars. In its 13th week at the box office, Silver Linings Playbook is still holding on to No. 4, managing to bring in $6.91 million and a 4.3 star rating. Finally, rounding out the top five was the action-packed fairytale drama Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters with $5.75 million and 3.6 stars.
