Is Jennifer Lopez staying or leaving Idol?

The Voice, X Factor, and American Idol have all become hot topics in the media. It appears that the shows are more interested in who the judges are and how much they are paying them as opposed to the actual talent performing. Recent reports have indicated Britney Spears joined The X Factor for $15 million, and Christina Aguilera received a raise to continue judging The Voice. Now it seems American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is jealous of the raises Aguilera and Spears received and wants one herself. Earlier this month, the “Jenny From The Block” singer appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and gave audience members as well as viewers the illusion she was leaving American Idol to spend more time with her family. However according to perezhilton.com the star will continue to judge the show if she gets more money than Spears received for joining The X Factor. “J.Lo and American Idol are striving for headlines along with it being ‘strictly business,’ she is also for sure wanting more money than Britney Spears to return,” says a source close to the television show. Despite Perez’s sources claiming Jen would stay for more money, E! News reported the A-List celebrity was definitely leaving because she is too busy with raising her four-year-old twins and her upcoming concert with Enrique Iglesias. The confusion is driving fans crazy and J.Lo tried clearing up the speculations by tweeting, “There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving idol. All I said was I haven’t decided what I am doing next year. #mediaremix.” Now it appears that none of us are any further ahead — is J.Lo staying or going?~Krystin Edgerton

If she can get that much $ and not have to do anyone she doesn’t want to, good for her.
