James Franco is a man who can do it all. Not only can he be hilarious in roles like Saul Silver from Pineapple Express and heartbreakingly serious in films such as 127 Hours, he can also do much more than act. James Franco has branched out from acting and into production, poetry, and story writing – releasing a book of short stories called Palo Alto: Stories. Now he has a new venture that he’s taking on; he’s becoming a columnist. The Spider-Man actor will be writing a regular column for the men’s magazine Playboy. His highly anticipated ‘Francofile’ column debuts in the July/August issue and will be a regular feature. The first one has the 34-year-old star interviewing the self-proclaimed “grandmother of performance art” Marina Abramovic, about space, energy, and the existence of magic. Franco is also set to release several films in the upcoming year and plans on doing more fiction writing. Is there anything this man can’t do? ~Stacy Raivich
