Jessica Chastain terminates Arnold Schwarzenegger at box office

The new horror movie Mama, starring Oscar-nominee Jessica Chastain, debuted at the top of the box office over the weekend, earning an estimated $28.1 million and 4.3 stars from Tribute users. Chastain also stars in the No. 2 movie at the weekend box office, the Oscar-nominated Zero Dark Thirty, about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, which took in $17.6 million and earned 3.5 stars at Tribute.ca. Another Best Picture Oscar-nominee, Silver Linings Playbook, starring Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence, took third place with $11.4 million and a 4.2 star rating. Not far behind was Gangster Squad, in fourth place with $9.1 million and 4.2 stars. Broken City starring Mark Wahlberg debuted in fifth place with $9 million and 3.9 stars. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the big screen in a starring role, The Last Stand, came in 10th place with $6.3 million and 4.4 stars.

    @C-Dub – Chastain really did come out of nowhere…i wouldn’t compare her to Lawrence….they are on difference levels
