John Travolta to be dad again

John Travolta and Kelly Preston — who have 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu together — have confirmed they are expecting a baby just 16 months after their son Jett tragically died from a seizure aged 16. The 56-year-old actor wrote on his official website: “It’s impossible to keep a secret, especially one as wonderful as this. We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella.” Even though Kelly is 47, the couple believe their timing is perfect. Star magazine reported: “Kelly is about three months pregnant. Both she and John are absolutely over the moon — they knew in their hearts that the time was right for this to happen.” John and Kelly have struggled to get over the passing of their eldest son Jett, who died in January 2009 during a holiday in the Bahamas.

Fan Expo Canada in Toronto began today for the 25th iteration this year. The four-day event is the largest Comics, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime, and Gaming event in Canada.
why cant they share this news with us without bringing up jetts death? and without saying its only been “16 months” since he died? no one will forget their son died while reading that they are having another baby. congratulations and i hope the baby is healthy and happy.

Travolta did not mention Jett’s death in making his new baby announcement on his website. The media may do so, but he didn’t.

I don’t think they meant anything by it. They’re saying, look, he had this tragedy in his life but now he has this blessing. It’s good news.

Congratulation John & Kelly. I am so happy for you. I lost my 2 oldest sons 13 days apart in April, 2008 so I know what a broken heart really is. As much as I would love to have a baby, I am too old but I do have 3 other children, 8 granddaughters with one on the way next January and a greatgrandson. 4 of the girls and the greatgrandson belong to my oldest son.
