Judge tells Lindsay Lohan: “This case involves jail time”

By Alexandra Heilbron on February 24, 2011 | 11 Comments

In court yesterday Judge Keith Schwartz told Lindsay Lohan that if she asks for a plea bargain on the charge of grand theft in regards to the necklace she allegedly stole from a jewelry store, she’s going to do jail time. He told the actress, “I don’t care that you’re Lindsay Lohan.” He also explained: “This case does involve jail time. Period. If you plead in front of me, if this case is resolved in front of me, you are going to jail. Period.” A preliminary hearing has been set for March 10. If Lindsay pleads guilty or no contest, she’ll go straight to jail for violating her probation. According to TMZ, the judge also ordered a psychological evaluation to help him understand what makes Lindsay tick and what length sentence is appropriate. If Lindsay doesn’t plead guilty or no contest, she’ll stand trial for grand theft and if found guilty, could get one year in state prison.

A year in state prison would definitely be a wake up call for her.

Meh, I’ll still be waiting for her. She’s good entertainment among other things.

And always wear a low-cut top to court in hopes of getting a lighter sentence. She slays me!

One year sentence means she’ll be out in about a month or less. Look at what happened the last time she went to jail. That was a joke, did she even last a week. This is one crazy lazy.

Definately about Time, this girl faced life,, Jail is probably the only thing left.Put her in Hard Time, with no perks! Let her see the lesson of her life..If nothing else, she may withdraw from her many addictions.Since her many Soft Rehabs have not helped one bit! Such a waste! What does it take for these people to wake up? Sad to say, But finding her dead, in some Hotel room, is next for this girl…If someone does not Step the Hell Up!!!!!!!!

Who cares what a little twit with a nice ass does. She really is an insignificant who needs to pay for what she does. Why do you even cover her story when there so much more interesting things going on in the world. Our people dying in so-called wars, earthquakes in New Zealand and yes, even the oscars.

It’s high time they stop treating these stars differently than they do us common folk. She has been to court repeatedly over the last couple of years for her drinking, parole violations hell she left the country for a job when she shouldn’t have and she still isn’t in prison. She is behaving like OJ did after murdering his wife and getting away with it. She wants to be punished and locked up and trust this just like OJ she will keep it up till she does something they can’t ignore any longer and lock her up. That girl needs help big time, therapy being number one, but she also needs to be locked away where she will have rules she will have no choice but to follow, I suspect that is what she needs more than a free ride yet once again, so stop threatening her and do it already!

Tis true….it’s unfortunate when Fame hits young people that are too influenced by the glitz and glamour of it all…being grounded is soooooo important and you see perfect examples of stars that are and that come from well balanced homes: Beyonce, Natalie Portman, Dakota Fanning…are a few to mention..but the parents obviously are a BIG factor in this person’s life…her dysfunctional life makes me think of the film Magnolia…classic Altman film and we see what child stars are REALLY like under the scrutiny of their psycho parents, too bad she had great potential in her earlier roles…but if she WAKES UP their is still hope…perhaps the QUIETNESS of jail can help her REFLECT and enjoy her blessings rather than act like some spoiled rich brat…ahhhhh life has a way of showing you the ” Good..the Bad and The Ugly” another great western spaghetti film classic…Cheers 🙂

she does need to get it together yes, but I do not believe jail helps anyone do that. Manditory therapy might be the way to go. Her actions have hurt no one but her, so why are most of you so mean?
