Judi Dench had famous name tattooed on her butt

Dame Judi Dench revealed she has a tattoo on her butt of a famous movie producer – the one and only Harvey Weinstein. At the 2014 BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards last week, the 79-year-old Skyfall actress was presented the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment from actor Dustin Hoffman. During her acceptance speech at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Judi described her honor and surprise at winning the award. “I’m rather overwhelmed by [the award], because I didn’t ever expect to have a film career at all,” said the actress. She also revealed that she was once told that she would never make it as a movie star. “I’ve never actually divulged who this person was but somebody very, very famous… said to me, ‘I’m sorry but I need to tell you this. You’ll never make a film because your face isn’t quite properly arranged.'”
It’s safe to say that the actress has proved them wrong.
Judi went on to shock audiences when she revealed she has a tattoo of Weinstein’s name, because of the part he played in the success of her breakout role in the 1997 feature film Mrs. Brown, in which she played Queen Victoria. “Blessed Harvey Weinstein, whose tattoo I still have on my bum, said it would be a proper (theatrical) film, and it was,” she told the audience.
However, Judi revealed in an interview to the Sunday Times’ Culture magazine that the tattoo is a fake. “He still thinks it’s tattooed. My make-up lady painted it on, and when I met him in New York I told him,” she explained. “He dismissed it, so I showed him and said, ‘Here you are!'” ~Janine Wyslobicky
