Ralph Macchio, 50, who recently appeared on Dancing with the Stars, has had a huge breakthrough in his career. He’s been cast alongside Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Hopkins in the new movie Hitchcock, about the making of the great director’s hit film Psycho. Ralph, best known for playing Daniel Larusso in the original Karate Kid, has been cast as Joe Stefano, the screenwriter who penned the film. According to recent reports, the film will focus on the production of Hitchcock’s film and the strain it had on the famed director and his wife. Ralph recently tweeted fans saying, “Really looking forward to the privilege of working with one of the greatest actors of our time.” He later clarified, saying “ahhh anthony hopkins! I have to get used to reading previous tweets. I suck at twitter.” ~Krystin Edgerton
