American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has announced she’s expecting a child with husband Brandon Blackstock. The news, revealed by Kelly on Twitter, comes one month after the couple got married. “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever,” she tweeted. Brandon, who has two kids from a previous marriage, is the son of Clarkson’s manager, Navel Blackstock, and the stepson of country musician Reba McEntire. The news comes shortly after Kelly revealed her hopes of being a mother on The Tonight Show, where she was promoting her Christmas album Wrapped in Red. “We have two kids,” Kelly said to Jay Leno last week. “And they’re so great. Why would Kelly would want to a baby with a guy who already had a family with his ex-wife. That makes no sense. It makes no sense to expand a family with a guy who already has a family. That is strange. Kelly Clarkson i don’t like your relationship situation. You could’ve date a guy who has no kids on there side and who is a single guy. Most guys who has kids on there side, they don’t want to expand there family but others do.
Racquel are you mental or just stupid? He is her husband, why would she not want her own kids with her husband? Lots of people have kids from previous relationships, you don’t think anyone should ever have a family in a new relationship? That doesn’t undermine his relationship with his kids from his past marriage, nor should she or anyone else say no to having their own family. There’s tons of split families out there.

Totally agree with the poster above. She has the right to start a new family with her husband and to bear a child. It does not mean the other two are neglected, in fact they seem to be very much loved by how she speaks of them. “She could just date a single guy” Raquel…really? They don’t just grow on trees for anyone to want to have babies with and love doesn’t usually let you be too picky. If it hit you with a guy who has a past when you’re in love you don’t care.
