Kim Kardashian attacked with flour on red carpet – video

By Tribute on March 23, 2012 | 23 Comments

Kim Kardashian just can’t seem to catch a break these days. First it was Jon Hamm’s rude comments about acting like an idiot, and then last night the reality star was assaulted with flour while on the red carpet for the launch of her new fragrance, True Reflection. A woman came up from behind and threw cooking flour all over Kim’s back and hair. Gossip site TMZ managed to catch the whole thing on video (see below). Because the woman yelled “Fur hag,” it was suspected to be a PETA stunt but the group is denying they were behind it, although they weren’t entirely against it. “PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments,” said a PETA official in their statement. “Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.” Despite the commotion, Kim seemed to take it in stride, telling E! News, “You have to laugh it off! I brushed off and came right back out.” ~Renita Naraine

    “assaulted” with flour…lmao

  2. Tori • March 23, 2012 @ 12:55 PM

Flour? Really? If you really wanted to make a statement the lady shuold’ve gone with red paint. Way harder to just brush off

  3. Candy • March 23, 2012 @ 1:10 PM

I wish these PETA people and those like them would just lay off. Telling people what to do, how to think and what to wear is getting old. PETA said they weren’t behind the stunt but that they weren’t against it because she wasn’t listening to their appeals… Free country – wear what you want. People have been wearing fur since learning to walk upright – what needs to change is not the wearing of the fur but the treatment and processing of the animals. And dumping flour – or red paint – isn’t helping… it just makes them look like fascist bullies!

bag of dog shit would have been better

PETA or not, it was great!

skinning animals alive? Electrocuting them? Really? these people need to get a brain and a life.

Everyone has seen her deflowered, and now floured! I don’t really feel bad, though. She can afford to get her clothes dry cleaned…or probably never wear it again, because she’s a celebrity and wearing the same thing in public twice is a celeb no-no.

Actually, it’s true. There is footage of animals being skinned alive for their fur. It’s disgusting. But Candy is right that people should be upset with that more than anything. All that said, it was awesome seeing her get covered in flour. Itching powder would have been even better.

Why was it great? What’s a bag of flour or paint going to do for a rich person for a day? Annoy them that’s it! Now she can go back to her good life and think others are losers with their opinions and actions

I bet you any amount of money Peta was behind it but just don’t want to admit it.

I find it funny that some random women gets arrested for throwing flour at Kim yet the killer who killed Treyvon Martin roams free.

I love Kim. I feel so bad this happened to her

  12. oink • March 23, 2012 @ 10:33 PM

At the end shes front page news

  13. Sam • March 24, 2012 @ 1:16 AM

Lol exactly I love animals too but really is it that really important to throw flour at someone BC really didn’t solve anything, I take flour on me anyday to have her coin.

  14. Nobody Important • March 24, 2012 @ 6:46 AM

That’s not the first time someone shot white stuff all over Kims back and hair. If I’m not mistaken, that’s how she started her career.

a bullet in that morons head would have been even better

  16. Olive • March 24, 2012 @ 8:51 PM

To whoever floured her, THANK YOU!!!

  17. Nobody Important • March 24, 2012 @ 10:03 PM

lol, next time use fast drying concrete.

  18. Olive • March 25, 2012 @ 1:24 AM

Next time, take a hint from Nobody Important, mike, and Tori and throw a mixture of red paint, dog poo, and fast drying concrete. Sorry if its rude but I hate her with a a burning vengence. I believe that you should become famous by working hard and climbing the ladder of success, not making a sex tape and making a sh***y reality show. #SorryButImNotSorry

  19. Nobody Important • March 25, 2012 @ 4:14 AM

I truly feel that a celebrity’s resume should extend beyond one utterly crummy sextape. She can’t act, sing, dance or even run a business (as she claims). What’s worst, her siblings managed to cash-in on her uselessness as well. That entire clan of misfits does not deserve to be rich!!

Believe it or not, but there was a time actors could sing and/or dance and they most certainly could remember their lines. People wouldn’t question their status because they actually worked for their fame.

So, anywho, I’d like to amend my previous fast drying concrete comment with a secondary coating of tar and feathers… perhaps some manure and fire. How did they get rid of witches back in the day?

“bullet in that moron’s head would have been better?” Do you people not turn down your hate long enough to think about your comments? Regardless of what we think of Kim or any other celebrity, wishing them harm is way over the line and makes you out to be an extremest. And an idiot.

not the first time the whole world has seen kim covered in a white substance, maybe she will take the hint

True enough. I hate what she represents, but I certainly don’t want to see anyone dead.

Who cares about her anyway. She will have her little lime light and fade away like Paris. Shes just a fad like all the others.
