Kristen Stewart too ashamed to face public

After the paparazzi caught her passionately kissing her married Snow White & the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart has suddenly become shy. According to RadarOnline, the 22-year-old actress has backed out of the London premiere of On the Road because she is “too ashamed” of her cheating scandal. The premiere is scheduled for August 16, but Stewart isn’t ready to face the public just yet. A source tells the site that Robert Pattinson, who she cheated on after a three year relationship, is close friends with her co-star Tom Sturridge. The insider explains, “Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him.” And with Stewart’s desire to be seen as a professional actress first and a star second, she’s worried that her presence will take away from the film, since she is so proud of the adaptation, explains the source. But while Stewart is in hiding, her now ex-boyfriend Pattinson is due to make his first public appearance since the scandal. I know what she did was wrong, but I think everyone needs to cut her some slack. She must be going through hell right now. At 22 it must seem like her world’s imploding. I bet Rupert was the one to blame for it anyway. She genuinely seemed to love Rob.
Nicely said MovieGoer. She made a mistake, and she has paid for it in a hugely public manner, which most of us when experiencing an embarrassing or humiliating moment don’t have to tolerate. I feel bad for the girl. Tough lesson to learn, but time will heal.

Bill, spoken like a spurned lover…lol, and yes you made some good points too. Ladies, you’re right too. She is still very young and we have all made our share of mistakes by that age as well, so let’s not condemn her to prison just yet y’all. It does seem to play into the possibility though that she may have wanted to end her relationship with Mr Pattinson and if so, she should have dealt with that before messing with a married couple’s livelihood. This huge error weights heavy on both sides of their story and I feel for them both, I do. I don’t think however that either of them will be suffering for very long…..fame and fate have their way of working out.

We only know so much about this story from what the tabloids and media have spun… from a photo. That kind of embarrassment on such a grande scale would be traumatic for anyone IMHO.
Kristen Stewart is not stupid. She broke up a marriage because she is an evil little girl and her life is about destruction.

Birdbrain, it does take two people to cheat, but I’d have to agree with MovieGoer, the older guy who is married should have known better than to be pursuing her in any sort of romantic fashion whatsoever.

Its easy to say no, why she kiss her director, rather then, push him and say, look, you are my director, nothing more. If she loved Rob, then she would of never cheated. Remember kissing/hugging is not cheating, making love is.
@Eric…so what you’re saying is, someone in a relationship can be as emotionally unfaithful as they want, form an intimate relationship with somebody else, make out with them, whatever…but as long as their genitals don’t dock, its not cheating? Ridiculous.
I personalty think age is a lame excuse for cheat, murder, crime….etc…

whether they get back together or not… it’s really up to them… i don’t know if i can forgive and forget cause I’ve never been the cheater or cheated on… If I have experienced it, then i can say whether I can forgive and forget. but if i forgive, i think it will take a loooooooooong time for me to trust them again. trust is earned not given….
lol please Karen not angry at all. I am happily married 10 years with 3 kids. I am good, and I still have date nights with my wife and only want to be with her. Now in Karen world it’s all good to get our freak on with as many people and feel no blame.
They both cheated,only she wasn’t married…therefor,SHE was the homewrecker!?When will women learn that men are forgiven by everyone,including the wives.There are so many men out there,stay the hell away from the fools who cheat on their wives…in the end it’s not the men that get the bad rap.It’s a hard lesson to learn and hopefully she has learned it well,’cause it will follow her around for a very long time…probably most of her young career if she lets it.(I hope she doesn’t)She should be there,not hiding…time to stop the double standard,if not in this industry then where?!

If you ask me, Kristen should be more ashamed of her cr*ppy acting than her sexual indiscretions.
Personally, I think the best thing she can do is get out of the spotlight for a little while and let this blow over. The best thing someone can do is just take a break and get their life back in order. Yes, she cannot act but maybe she can redeem herself in 5 to 10 years if she just takes a break and starts over. Take some acting classes, work on trying to get her relationship with Rob intact, or even just self reflect on what she did. But truly, all she needs is to leave the spotlight for 5 to 10 years, and then comeback with a new mind and hopefully some better acting skills.
She’s a kid…. kid’s make mistakes and hopefully they learn… Besides, I heard that Robert Pattison has serious toe nail fungus, so I don’t blame her. Another way to look at it is that she was the prom queen and he was the prom king, but now they’re graduating from high school into university… hello!!!! I’m not undermining their emotional experience, but that’s life in the fast lane… for the rest of us it’s just life.
I think that she should just be strong. We all make mistakes, she is so young. We all make mistakes and do stuff that We are not proud of one way or the other. Some of us have to learn our lessons the hard way. I think she should be strong and just go on. I think that old married idiot is to blame if anything, he was the only one married at the time.
