Kristen Stewart wins Best Actress award

Kristen Stewart has won the award for Best Female Actress at the Milan Film Festival for her role in the indie film Welcome to the Rileys, which received only a limited release in the United States. Kristen plays a teenage runaway in the movie. The award is one of the biggest honors Stewart has received in her career for a specific role. She previously won a Rising Star BAFTA award and for her work in the Twilight films, has received a People’s Choice award, as well as several MTV and Teen Choice awards. She’s since completed work on the final two movies in the Twilight series – The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2, as well as a role in another indie film, On the Road, starring alongside Amy Adams and Viggo Mortensen. Kristen is currently vacationing in Toronto with her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, but will begin filming the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman — a dark look at the fairy tale — this fall.

Days after filming resumed on The Batman outside London, England, production has come to a halt after star Robert Pattinson tested positive for COVID-19.

Glad she won. She often gets dumped on because of Twilight, however, her small films like Welcome to the Rileys, Speak or Cake Eaters are little gems. Looking forward to On the Road.
in all her roles, she looks like she’s playing the same character, even the Runaways, always have this dumbfounded look on her face.
Her skin looks so milky and smooth, I wan eat that.
That may be true Germain but it’s the same with Meryl Streep. It’s like a signature for them to have something always the same about them. No better actress can be found anywhere than Meryl Streep. Kristen might become the next Meryl if she keeps rising to the top like this.
I liked her in Adventureland, that’s about it.
Meryl Streep is a fantastic actress – please don’t compaire Kristen to her – it’s like compairing Justin Beiber to Frank Sinatra!
This girl cannot act at all! She’s always awkward with the same stupid expression on her face. She has no personality.
No, Monique, I didn’t mean that I was comparing her to Meryl, just that when someone said Kristen was the same in every movie, I noted that a lot of actors were basically the same in every movie, like a signature. Meryl always rolls her eyes, and gets expressions on her face that say so much more than words. Meryl does this in every movie. Kristen has MILES to go before she Streeps!!! 🙂
I agree with Kirsten, woman can’t act her way out of a paper bag. I think she has hardly any personality in the Twilight series, if it wasn’t for Jacob I wouldn’t even watch it at all. She is about as warm and hugable as a spiney fish.
this is a suprise considering she’s a bad actress. In every movie I see her in she is the same, very boring. Always stuttering, with a plain personality.

lol, she plays the same character every movie she does, same mannerisms and everything. I’m sorry, I tried not to come to this article and hate but she’s a mediocre actress at best, she’s only famous because of Stephanie Meyer’s books. I think that’s who writes twilight.

I think she’s a good actress with the roles she gets. There’s something about her that many people like. Why do you have to be so bitchy?? She doens’t go out there and undress in the public or get drunk or do drugs like many young actresses do today – doing anything to get publicity. She just lives her life quietly with her nice boyfriend and does her job. Why not leave her alone??
