LEGO continues to reign at box office

The LEGO movie continues to reign at the top of the weekend box office, with a 3.5 star rating at Tribute.ca and an estimated $31.5 million in box office receipts for a total three-week take of $183.2 million. Debuting in second place was Kevin Costner‘s 3 Days to Kill, earning $12.3 million and a Tribute.ca user rating of 3.75 stars. In third place was another new movie, Pompeii, starring newcomer Kit Harington of Game of Thrones fame. It took in $10 million at the box office and earned a 3 star Tribute.ca rating. RoboCop dropped one spot to third place, with an estimated weekend take of $9.4 million and 3.6 stars. Now in its third week, The Monuments Men slipped to fifth place with an additional $8.1 million for a total of $58 million and 3.7 stars at Tribute.ca.

Rounding out the Top 10 were About Last Night, Ride Along, Frozen, Endless Love and Winter’s Tale. For full box office results, click here.
