Leonardo DiCaprio strikes out with model

By Tribute on May 23, 2013 | 19 Comments

British model and actress Cara Delevigne, 20, turned down Leonardo DiCaprio’s romantic advances at the Cannes Film Festival this week, calling him “too forward and too old.” The pair met at an after party for Leo’s film The Great Gatsby but the 38-year-old actor’s good looks and baby blue eyes had no effect on Cara. A source told British newspaper The Sun, “Normally all Leo has to do is look at a girl and they fall at his feet… though Cara was having none of it.” The source said Leo spent the whole night chasing after her trying to steal a kiss, but she continued to blow him off. “They spoke and he was pretty forward, inviting her to a party back at his suite. He tried every trick in the book and apparently kept lunging for her but she kept dodging them,” the source said. Leo, who has dated numerous top models – including Gisele Bündchen, Eva Herzigová, Erin Heatherton and Bar Refaeli – was apparently “too forward and too old” for Cara, according to the insider. ~Sarah Dos Santos

Maybe this will be a wake up call for him that it’s time to stop being a slutty dog and find someone who actually cares about him. She turned him down because she comes from money – she doesn’t need his or his fame. The young models who lust after fame/money will not turn him down, but they won’t give a damn about him either. If he wants to continue living a shallow life without anyone who gives a damn about him, this is the way to go, pursue young girls with his dick sticking straight out like a bloody adolescent.

Let me see. Almost everyone in the world knows of Leo DiCaprio. And this Cara Delevigne is a”famous” model/actress? Who outside the model industry has ever heard of her, or will in ten years? She screwed up big time and Leo is better of without her.
“She has her own fame and money”. If so, then she needs to recognize the class and genuineness that Leo portrays and BEG him for another chance.
And Leo should should smile sadly and gently tell her to go **** herself.

Good for her. They should both date people their own age.

Good for her ,just because your a model doesnt mean your a whore or a piece of arm candy.

Best story of the day. Nice to hear there are some young ladies out there with some class and integrity.

@Lou – The last thing Leo displays in his personal life is class, let alone genuineness. Ever heard of the ‘Brat Pack’?

    Maybe she’s gay!

She’s dating someone else…a musician her own age.

Why do we even care what goes on at the after-parties….alcohol changes behaviour.

@Janice I don’t think Leo is looking for anything serious based on his past “relationships”
@Lou just because she’s not famous in North America, doesn’t mean she’s not a recognized name. You’d be surprised of some of our “celebs” Europeans have never heard of

For every girl that turns him down there are 9 others willing to jump in the sack with him, I’m sure. In other words, he won’t have to lick his wounds for too long.

In 5-7 years, she will regret saying what she did…

I checked out this woman and now wonder if poor Leo, in his old age, has gone blind? She is not any great catch from what I’ve seen. Unless every picture on Google is bad, she is not all that pretty. But then I maybe going blind too.

She is a dog (in looks) anyway and he is a dog (in behavior) so whats the problem? The people complaining here are all women (who wish they had a guy like Leonardo chase them ) and pathetic guys trying to score brownie points with women (who they would run from if they saw) so they can get laid (worse than Leo u disingenuous guys), In a blink she will be history even in Europe so hope she saves her money and really the guy her age who want her now wont want her when she is 40 he will want another 20 yr old that is the entertainment business.

Good for her but why is he even remotely interested in her. She’s a bone rack and looks like she never gets any sunlight (most likely a vampire). Oh brother, Leo’s 38 and there are plenty of hot single babes in their 30s and 40s for him to mingle with. What a doofus.

Get a life people who gets a shit about the goings on of the rich ,and famous ..They sure don’t care about you ……

I think I will stand up for her. Just because he is wealthy and good looking, they probably have very little in common, due to the difference in their age.
Also, from what I hear, she has a boyfriend; so why should she ruin that relationship, just because of who Leo is?

  17. Garrett • May 23, 2013 @ 11:25 PM

I agree with stan and gus.. She looks like a preteen boy anyways.. how are this women models for anything other then baby gap and sears is beyond me.. Also leaves into questions about leo’s standards and preferences..

I think it is a wake-up call for him that he should start dating someone who is his age!!! Not everyone can be George Clooney!!

  19. jade • May 25, 2013 @ 1:15 PM

Ya i saw photos of her on Google too and she is definitely not all that! i don’t get why he’s chasing her…not only is she too young, those eyebrows have to go…he must be going blind! Sooo many better looking models out there…i think he went after her just cuz she’s a model and it seems like that’s all he dates!
