Liv Tyler‘s ”favorite thing” is taking ”creepy” pictures of people sleeping.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King star admits she loves to snap photographs of her family and friends when they’re fast asleep but admits it is a little ”creepy because they look dead.”

She told ES magazine: ”My favorite thing at night is to check on everyone while they are sleeping, grown-ups, children. I actually take quite a lot of pictures of people when they’re sleeping, which is kind of creepy because they look dead.”

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old actress may not have as much time to photograph her current family – fiancé Dave Gardner and their child Sailor, 12 months and her 11-year-old son, Milo, from a previous relationship – as she recently revealed she is expecting her third child.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: ”Oh my goodness it seems the stork is visiting us again !!!! I am growing another little Tyler Gardner in my belly . our family is growing!!! So grateful. @davidgardner I love you.”

And Liv also revealed labor is a ”wonderful, magical experience.”

She added: ”It’s [labor is] a wonderful, magic, amazing experience, but it’s pretty f***ing scary; a lot of stakes … [when I was delivery Sailor] I cried and I was like, ‘F*** you’. And I need a lot of help. It takes a village [when I give birth].”
