The all-female reboot of Ocean’s Eleven is quickly becoming a sea of A-list talent.

The film, which is titled Ocean’s Eight and had already confirmed Sandra Bullock to its ranks, just named six more stars to its cast.

According to reports, Warner Bros. has secured Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina to the project. Awkwafina, for those who don’t know, is the stage name of rapper-comedian Nora Lum, who recently appeared on screen in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

Earlier this summer, Helena told Entertainment Weekly that although she wasn’t officially signed to the film, she had read Olivia Milch’s screenplay and was a fan. She said, “It’s a really good script… It’s great for women. Just hilarious.”

The Hunger GamesGary Ross is set to direct the movie, with production slated to begin in October.

Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the George Clooney Ocean’s Eleven trilogy, is a longtime friend of Garry’s and will serve as a producer for Ocean’s Eight.

With seven ladies now named to the film, who would you like to see fill the coveted eighth spot? Share your thoughts with us!

..of course they will remake this and just change genders. It’s the ‘in’ thing to do in Hollywood right now. I’d like to give my comment about another addition to the roles, but I have nobody in mind. Emma Thompson was a nice idea.

I think an older woman……… that is older than Kate at 46 or Helena around the same age. Sandra is way up there too! How about older in the sense of Dame Helen Mirren and possibly even going with a big winner like Meryl Streep. Depends on the script requirements………. or the script could be altered.

NO, please , the cast sounds ok, but do not add Meryl Streep. Isn’t everyone else Streep’d out?

Are things that bad for actresses in Hollywood that they have to fix what isn’t broke?
