Lost star Doug Hutchison marries 16-year-old singer

Doug Hutchison, 51, who played Horace Goodspeed, a member of the Dharma Initiative on the hit ABC-TV series Lost, has married 16-year-old aspiring singer Courtney Stodden. He recently posted the news on his official website: “Doug Anthony Hutchison and Courtney Alexis Stodden became husband and wife on Friday May 20th, 2011, at 12 pm in The Little Chapel of Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr and Mrs Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil’ pups, Everette and Tuna.” The age of consent in Las Vegas is 18, but teens can get married at 16 with parental consent. Courtney’s mother Krista Stodden told RadarOnline.com: “We are totally supportive of this marriage. Doug is a wonderful man and we love him.” Hutchison also played Percy Wetmore in the feature film The Green Mile with Tom Hanks, Ifty in I Am Sam with Sean Penn and Davros in the hit series 24, with Kiefer Sutherland.

   Besides the fact, that they can’t possibly have anything in common, I’d say that this marriage will last a year, tops, if it isn’t a sham all the way around.
   Parental consent or not, there should be an investigation into statutory rape. That is my 2 cents.

   Some 16 year old’s look older physically, facially, and have mature personalities with foresight. Like in this case. I doubt the marriage will last long, because both parties seem to be using each other, one for the long term, the other for the now.

    She has been drinking her milk!! But really, look at her pose…yeah this smacks of opportunism…she met a guy gullable enough to think she is truly in love with him..he was thinking yeah, look what I can get… A year maybe? But actual everlasting, is not even a question.
    The parents! Do they REALLY think her dress is white for a reason? Their sweet little daughter was saving herself..16yrs old. When did they meet? Was she 15 or 14??? She doesn’t know what she wants and I would laugh my ass off if 2 months from now there is an article that they are getting divorce and she will get 1/2 of everything and her high school friends dared her to do it and she gets an extra $20. lol.

    Why would her parent be ok with this? I’m thinking that it’s because when their daughter files for divorce, they think they’ll get some of the money she’ll end up with…and what the hell is he thinking marrying a frigging child?????
    I’m sorry but I don’t see how he’s not being charged with statutory rape…he’s a frigging pedophile…I think the police should be checking out his computers, etc. for evidence of child pornography…

    Whats really funny about this to me is when I saw the picture with the headline, I thought she was the 51 yr old and he was the 16yr old!!! The fact that she is only 16 is creepy. Never seen a 16 yr look/pose like that.
