Matthew Fox opens up about cut World War Z role

Actor Matthew Fox has opened up about his role in Marc Forster’s early cut of the zombie epic, World War Z. Prior to re-shoots, he had a major role as a soldier who forms a relationship with Brad Pitt‘s onscreen wife (Mireille Enos). However, fans of the Lost star will be disappointed to know that Matthew only appears briefly in the final version of the film. In an interview with Boston Common magazine, he explained: “He’s a Navy SEAL who rescues Brad Pitt and his family off of a rooftop in Philadelphia. He ends up looking after his family amidst this chaos, while Brad Pitt’s character tries to find a solution to the zombie apocalypse. The movie is the setup for the possibility of a trilogy. My role would be more developed, I think, if there were to be more films. But I just was really excited to be a part of it in any way.” ~Alfonso Espina

Cool better be an extended directors cut on blu ray that would be cool! The
Movie was awesome, besides getting shakened up in the beginning, then dizzy half way through and then finally feeling like a milk shake towards the end of the film,.. Besides all the lazy camera style shooting and the “shaky yay yay shaky shaky yay I’m watching an MTV music video yay” style lazy camera crap that thankfully was brief In the parts I mentioned I truly loved this movie. Directors and cinematographers really need to drop this style shooting!! What could of been a 5*star movie for me quickly became a 3* only because of that. It will be easier to watch at home. 3D was cool too 🙂
