Meg Ryan behind John Mellencamp marriage break up?

Following the announcement last week of rocker John Mellencamp’s split from his third wife, it now appears that actress Meg Ryan may be the reason. Ryan, 49, and Mellencamp, 59, were seen as early as last October walking arm-in-arm in New York City. Recently, they’ve been spotted on Martha’s Vineyard, an island off the coast of New England. In New York they’re reportedly regular customers at the Gourmet Garage grocery store (they enter and leave separately to avoid photographers). A source told people.com: “She usually comes in by herself or with her daughter [Meg adopted a daughter from China in 2006]. I thought that was her husband because they seemed comfortable and familiar with each other, just like an old married couple.” Meg split from husband Dennis Quaid in 2001 after her affair with Russell Crowe made headlines. Mellencamp’s track record reveals that he was involved with other women prior to the breakup of both of his previous marriages. Meg has a son, Jack, with Quaid. Mellencamp has five children from his three marriages.

The Intruder’s interesting premise and fascinating performance by antagonist Dennis Quaid as a homeowner reluctant to sell elevates the film beyond your standard home invasion fare.
Interesting I totally forgot she is a little tramp. Once a cheat always a cheat. I never liked her as an actress either.
His third wife took up with him while he was married to his second wife, so she should have expected this.
Wow you’re pretty harsh. Guess you forgot that Quaid was no angle and also an addict. People are humans and I think she has paid the piper for her past transgressions, especially being so openly dumped by Russel Crowe.
Personally I am happy for her. Life is short and if you can find your soul mate, claim him:)

We really have no right to judge these people. We do not know what is going on in their relationships or if any of this is really true. Until you are privy to this type of information it is truly deplorable to call someone names, especially names like those. You are all discpicable human beings.

Yeh, I’m kind of surprised to hear that Meg got in the middle of a troubled marriage! However, more power to her for looping in Mellancamp–she could have done worse!!Only time will tell whether they don’t screw each other royally (no pun intended!)
