Meghan Markle’s half-sister calls out Prince Harry

The first hint of what could be bad blood for the soon-to-be married royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has come at the hands, or should we say, the Twittering fingertips, of Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Grant.
Grant took to Twitter to fire back at Prince Harry after he made a comment during an interview on BBC Radio 4’s Today program, when he confirmed his fiancée had a great time over the holidays with his royal relatives: “I think we’ve got one of the biggest families that I know of and every family is complex as well. She’s done an absolutely amazing job, she’s getting in there and it’s the family that I suppose she never had.”
Meghan’s half-sister (whose mother was married to Meghan’s father, Thomas, before he divorced her and married Meghan’s mother, Doria) had a bit of an issue with the fact that the Prince commented his family is one his fiancée “never had.”
She pointed out that Meghan did indeed have a close family, despite what he thinks, posting to her Twitter account: “Actually she has a large family who were always there with her and for her. Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses. No one was estranged, she was just too busy. Read my book complete with facts and photos.”
Of course, it is interesting to note that Grant is getting ready to release a tell-all book about Meghan and is likely going to cash in on the high-profile couple, hinted at by her comment to grab the book and read the “facts” for yourself. But regardless, she confirmed previously she was happy to hear of the engagement, telling the press in November their relationship is “not about royalty so much as it is about love.”

I think what Prince Harry Meant was Megan was having a family
that were ALL Royals. She shouldn’t be so touchy. Shame..
Yeah, I don’t think he meant anything by it. It’s probably something Meghan said to him. Her family is broken up, they’ve probably never had a full Christmas with everyone at her home.
No malice on Harry’s part. He just said something that was taken out of context by the sister. If I were the sister I would not do stuff like this. This is something special and uniquely challenging, I would suggest to the sister to refrain from making such comments publicly.
Sounds like she’s trying to cash in on some wealth of her own on the back of her sister.
The comments are simply a Book Advertisement, but she could also be sensitive to comments about the quality of her earlier home life. The fact tho that she twitters her objection, rather than states it privately to Harry, to me is strongly suggestive she is looking to benefit here – eg. the book comment.

It was a careless comment he really shouldn’t have made publicly. But…her “sister” is selling a tell-all book about her. Doesn’t exactly sound like a dedicated and loving sibling.
I heard that the Royals don’t usually accept someone whose father is in jail or has been married once before. I think it nice to see that anyone can be in the family, without these rules.I agree that the sister seems to be a cash cow. Not to be so blunt, but the point.

I don’t think Harry would say anything unless he was told false information. He only goes by what is said to him so if she’s saying lies to him now this isn’t starting off good
Seriously…the fact that Megan’s sister even said what she expressed publicly says more about her than anyone else.
