Miley Cyrus offends at VMAs

In an attempt to murder her Hannah Montana persona once and for all, Miley Cyrus, 20, gave a performance that was so obscene that the cameras often turned to get reaction from the audience members, showing the shock and disbelief on their faces, including Will Smith, his wife and children. Jaden, 15, looked disgusted, while his 12-year-old sister’s mouth gaped open. Their mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith, clamped her hand over her mouth. Drake stared at the floor while others looked on in disbelief. Miley gyrated as if she was at a strip club in a skin-toned latex bikini, grabbed her crotch and stuck her face in a dancer’s butt. And just as in the photo shown here, taken on the red carpet entrance to the awards ceremony, her tongue was out of her mouth more often than in. She ramped it up a notch when she twerked during Robin Thicke’s performance of his hit song, “Blurred Lines,” bending over in front of him and rubbing her bum into his crotch. She also sported a giant foam finger that she used to touch herself before running it down the front of Robin’s pants.
Criticism hit Twitter quickly following her performance, with users writing comments such as: “I think Miley Cyrus broke the record for the most bad decisions in the shortest amount of time” and “When rihanna is staring at you like you are out of your mind you should really rethink your life.” Some said they were traumatized after watching the performance, and comedian Kevin Hart joked that “Miley better get a … pregnancy test after all of that grinding.”

What`s with the tongue sticking out? Does she think it’s sexy. Hey, a gimmick is a gimmick and some work, this was a fail in all aspects other than people are talking about her today. But we’re talking about her looking slutty, I don’t think that’s a good thing.
Good or Bad, Miley TROLLED America! In her line of work it’s the ones that get talked about that get remembered and she killed two birds with one stone. She has everyone in her industry talking about her and she destroyed the Disney child image dogging her the last few years. Take out the personal opinion of what you thought of her act and you will see this was a genius move for her in her industry!

Sparky, I would agree with you if she looked good doing it, many have done it before and went to extremes but she looked more awkward than anything else. That’s why I think it failed because she’s trying too hard and everyone knows why she’s doing it.
She should let the music speak for itself instead of trying to look like a gangster, nobody’s buying it.

I was also offended by Robin Thicke. The performance made him seem like a pedophile. Now when I hear his song, it reminds me of that performance and I have to turn the radio off.
