Milla Jovovich has shared the first picture of her new baby daughter.
The Resident Evil actress and director husband Paul W. S. Anderson welcomed second child Dashiel Eden into the world on Wednesday April 1, and the proud mother – who also has seven-year-old Ever Gabo with her spouse – has now revealed the youngster’s birth measurements.
Alongside a photo of the sleeping tot swaddled beneath a blanket, she wrote on Instagram: ”We are so proud to announce the birth of our second daughter Ms. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson today!!! She is 7lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long! We love you Dash”
Earlier this week, the 39-year-old beauty – who had been due to give birth on Sunday (03.29.15) – admitted she was ”packed and ready” for the new arrival.
She posted on Facebook on Monday (03.30.15): Hey every1! I’m officially one day overdue with my pregnancy. ”It could happen anytime, so we’re packed, ready, but on the edge of our seats!”
Milla previously revealed she will only be taking a few months off to be with her baby as she is scheduled to return to the ‘Resident Evil’ franchise later this year.
She previously wrote in a Facebook post: ”I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming Resident Evil — The Final Chapter in August of this year. I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously.”
