I would have to say Stepmom
Well, to be honest, I can’t name just “one” specific movie……because my Mom (and Dad) come over almost every weekend for our “traditional” weekly visit and home-cooked (or yummy special take-out) dinner and movie night. And usually that’s the only day of the week I see my “Mom” at least…due to me stuck at home with my disability and her working most days still.
So I truly enjoy my time with Mom enjoying ANY movie (might be a nice Drama, funny comedy, or even a action packed adventure or thriller, too). But really, it’s just spending time with Mom (and Dad) that I treasure the most…….even if I don’t tell her enough. I love her very much….and wish we had more visits….and only wish I could “give back” so much more for all she has done for me.

My mom and I’s favourite movie to watch together is Pure Country with George Strait or Urban Country with John Travolta. We watched those movies when I was younger and we make a habit of rewatching them every Mother’s Day, it is a tradition. This question was the perfect question to ask especially since we watch theses movies every year on Mother’s Day! I would love to win and surprise her with some awesome gifts! My 100 year old Mother loves the old post war movie Johnny Belinda, filmed in Cape Breton in 1948 with some nice shots of the picturesque island. We have never tired of watching it as it is a fovourite for her.

Oh my Lord this sound like a awesome Mothers Day package. I love the movies and the Body shop has so many lovely things. Mama here really needs a night out. My mom and I favorite Move is Field of Dream. In fact we watched it earlier this week. My mom always cries and that makes me cry. My mom is 83 now. Well my mom and I had awesome times at movies, we so loved comedy. She would make a big deal about just us going, so if one was playing and we could get it all lined up with babysitter, my work shift and the time and movie it was so worth it, and our favourite, Grease, the fun, musical and those actors, a time I will never forget. Thank you movies for the memories. 👍

When I was taking care of my Mother in the last three years of her life, she couldn’t get enough of watching “Gone With The Wind” because she liked to look at Clark Gable. She couldn’t even pretend to understand how Vivien Leigh could even consider rejecting him.

(Yup, that’s how old I am LOL) Going to the show in those days was a real treat and I not only remember how much I loved the show but how much I loved the experience! Maybe that’s why I still love going to the show! I must mention how comfy those new reclining seats are that are in some theatre’s! Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

Me and my mom love Steel Magnolias every time we watch it, its still makes laugh and cry.
When my mum was alive, our go to movie was always “Meet Me in St. Louis” with Judy Garland. We would put our pjs on, get our favourite snacks and drinks and settle in for our favourite musical. Sadly, she passed away when I was twenty. I still watched it every year with her in my heart. Joyfully, I had a daughter and she loved it as well. I was able to start this wonderful tradition again. She and I do it every year and counting. Now, the tradition has tripled in joy with my grandaughter joining us. It’s our girls night in movie. Mother’s Day and Christmas treat….every year. It’s precious time with my girls.
