creationClick here to watch the brand new exclusive Creation trailer. Creation is the extraordinary story of Charles Darwin (Paul Bettany) and how his book “The Origin of Species” came to light. It tells of a global revolution played out in the confines of a small English village; a passionate marriage torn apart by the most provocative idea in history—evolution; and a theory saved from extinction by the logic of a child.

    Nancy on October 15, 2009 12:39 AM “Oh! I completely forgot about that one, Earl 101!!! I guess I should rephrase what I said earlier then, LOL.I said I love anything Stephen King creates. I should have added on paperbecause his version of The Shining with Steven Weber SUCKED!!! Hahahaha.”

    I can’t remember enough of the mini-series to say if I thought it sucked but THANKS for giving me that actor’s name, “Steven Weber”. I’ve been trying to remember what his name was. My co-workers and I had a bet (mind you I just lost $5 because I thought it was Brian Something)and we weren’t allowed to use the internet to figure it out. Still I can stop wondering.

    tributegirl: I really enjoyed The Gunslinger/ Darktower series. Alot of fun and it really was a different and interesting universe he created. Sadly, I really didn’t like the ending of the last book though. I really enjoy SK’s stories BUT I do find his ending are a toss up some good some bad.However,I probably haven’t read as much of the guy as you or Nancy.

    I know. I’m replying to stuff that’s 14 days old, sorry. I need to get more current.

    OK today’s article – New Creation trailer – I like it.

    LMAO Earl 101, yes, good trailer!
    I agree, the ending of the series did throw me for a loop, and I’m still not completely sure if I liked it or not, I kind of did because it was so unexpected, but the whole series was just so incredibly imaginative, I really enjoyed it. The Mist wasn’t all that great, but then again, he almost has a way of drawing you right into the story, you almost feel like you are there, which is cool, to me that’s a very good talent.

    See I actually liked The Mist, but I only saw the movie I didn’t read the story. I was told the ending in the story is better than the movie. I enjoyed it because the monsters are kind of from The World of the Gunslinger (or at least between the worlds [I don’t want to say more and ruin things for anybody who hasn’t read The Gunslinger}

    Your right though the whole series sucks you right in. I think Wolves of The Calla is my favorite. It has the whole Seven Samurai (Kurwisawa {forgive the horrible spelling} / Magnificent Seven feel/ Hey There’s even a dance number in it.

    Yeah, the Wolves of Calla was awesome! I found even the first book, very very early on, I was hooked! I haven’t seen the movie The Mist, but have read the book, and again it sucked you right in, it was amazing, but definitely not my favorite. The Stand was my favorite, hands down!
