New Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance TV spots

By Alexandra Heilbron on February 8, 2012 | 3 Comments

Three TV spots for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance are now available. The new spots, one of which premiered during last Sunday’s Super Bowl pre-game show, are part of the recent promotional push as the release of Ghost Rider quickly approaches. While many of the scenes in the spots had been previously revealed in the trailers, they do lead to a better understanding of the plot of the new superhero film. Ghost Rider (Nicolas Cage) teams up with the leader (Idris Elba) of a group of rebel monks to save Danny (newcomer Fergus Riordan), who could be the key to saving Ghost Rider from his curse. The ads showcase all the classic action you can expect: crazy motorcycle stunts, a flaming skull and a chain whip ready to destroy any demons that Johnny Blaze may find in his way. Keep an eye out for the sequel’s new antagonist, Blackout, played by Johnny Whitworth. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance comes to theaters on Februrary 17. ~Rodrigo Cokting

I’m a firm believer that Nicolas Cage has the unique gift of ruining anything he touches.
