The long awaited Black Panther is finally here and having seen a preview ourselves, we guarantee Marvel fans will not be disappointed! Chadwick Boseman is especially fantastic in the title role. Also opening today is the intriguing sci-fi thriller Before We Vanish, the action/comedy Detective Chinatown 2 and for the kids, the animated comedy Early Man.
Black Panther
As the new king of Wakanda, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), along with his technologically savvy younger sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) and his guard Okoye (Danai Gurira), T’Challa must stop the evil Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) from using vibranium to take over the world. Early Man – During prehistoric times, Neanderthal Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his sidekick Hognob unite his tribe against mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City in an attempt to save their home. Opening wide. Click here for showtimes.

Before We Vanish – Journalist Sakurai is approached by a young man who wants to team up to search for a suspected murderer. Sakurai agrees, but doesn’t realize the man is one of the aliens who are on Earth to take possession of human bodies. Opens today in Toronto and on March 2 in Montreal. Click here for showtimes.

Civil War, a story about America divided amongst itself under the control of a dictator, took first place at the weekend box office in its opening weekend.
Went to the movie; surprising better than expected. A lot of jokes that added to the enjoyment to the movie. The strength of women characters were clearly highlighted- no stereotypical roles- women we generals and scientist. The idea that it was a black movie is beyond commenting; this a movie for all.
