New movies in theaters – Bumblebee early access and more!

Bumblebee starring Hailee SteinfeldNo new wide releases today, so we’re expecting the weekend box office results to stay much the same. However, the biggest news this weekend is the re-release of Best Picture Oscar-winner Schindler’s List after 25 years and this Saturday, there’s an early access screening of Bumblebee at select theaters. Also, you might enjoy some of the films that are hitting select theaters, such as Mowgli, Legend of the Jungle, which also debuts on Netflix today. Schindler’s List 25th Anniversary Re-Release – The Oscar-winning Best Picture starring Liam Neeson tells the incredible true story of the warm-hearted Oskar Schindler, who saved the lives of more than 1,100 Jews during the Holocaust. The movie won seven Academy Awards and was nominated for 12 in total. Click here for showtimes.

Bumblebee – Early Access Screening – Select theaters will screen an advance showing of Bumblebee, starring Hailee Steinfeld as a teen who discovers Bumblebee in a junkyard. Playing only on the evening of Saturday Dec. 8. Bumblebee opens in theaters across Canada on Dec. 19. Click here for early access screening showtimes.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle – A human boy named Mowgli (Rohan Chand) is raised by a wolf pack in the jungle. As he learns the rules of the jungle from a bear named Baloo (Andy Serkis) and a panther named Bagheera (Christian Bale), Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals as one of their own. All but one: the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch). Playing in Toronto and on Netflix. Click here for showtimes.
