DC League of Super-Pets arrives in theaters this Friday.

The animated action film DC League of Super-Pets hits theaters this Friday. Also arriving in select cities are B.J. Novak’s Vengeance and Ali & Ava. DC League of Super-Pets – Krypto the Super-Dog (Dwayne Johnson) and Superman (John Krasinski) are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound (Kevin Hart), PB the potbellied pig (Vanessa Bayer), Merton the turtle (Natasha Lyonne) and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna)—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes. Vengeance – Journalist and radio host Ben Manalowitz (B.J. Novak), a people pleaser, travels from New York City to West Texas to attend the funeral of a girl he once hooked up with. Once he arrives, the girl’s brother asks Ben to help investigate her mysterious death. Ben agrees to help solve her murder in hopes of creating a hit podcast about his findings. Ali & Ava – Ali (Adeel Akhtar) and Ava (Claire Rushbrook) meet through their shared connection to Sophie, the daughter of Ali’s tenants and a student in Ava’s classroom. Their mutual connection soon becomes an intense romance as the pair struggle through turmoil, including Ava’s quick-tempered son and Ali’s broken marriage. Playing in select cities. Resurrection – Margaret (Rebecca Hall) believes she has moved on from her dark past and has overcome her traumas. But it appears that her past may not be done with her just yet. When her abusive ex-boyfriend David (Tim Roth) returns to her life after 22 years, Margaret is forced to relive the part of her life she regrets every day. My Old School – Brandon Lee walked through the classroom doors at Bearsden Academy, ready to start his school year. Students and teachers whispered about his mature appearance, but he still made friends and even starred in a musical. However, it’s revealed this teenager is actually a 30-year-old man, and his name isn’t even “Brandon Lee.” Playing in Toronto and Vancouver. Click here for showtimes.

Paradise Highway – When her brother’s life is threatened, Sally (Juliette Binoche), a truck driver, reluctantly agrees to smuggle illicit cargo: a girl named Leila (Hala Finley). As Sally and Leila begin a danger-fraught journey across state lines, a dogged FBI operative (Morgan Freeman) sets out on their trail, determined to do whatever it takes to terminate a human-trafficking operation — and bring Sally and Leila to safety.
