Thor: Love and ThunderThor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest to find himself, now that his “superheroing” days are over. His retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Along with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Fourth of July – Jeff (Joe List), a recovering alcoholic jazz pianist in New York City, has been two years sober. He has a stable relationship with his girlfriend Beth (Sarah Tollemache), but keeps having recurring nightmares. He decides to go visit his bigoted, homophobic family in rural Maine for their annual Fourth of July vacation in order to face them and have them examine the roles they’ve played in damaging his psyche. ApplesAs amnesia spreads from person to person on a pandemic-like scale, a middle-aged man named Aris (Aris Servetalis) boards the bus like any normal day, but suddenly forgets where he was going and who he is. He’s subsequently enrolled in a rehabilitation program, where every morning, he listens to a cassette tape that gives him assignments.As he completes each task, he snaps a polaroid picture to keep in a scrapbook of memories. Dreaming Walls: Inside the Chelsea Hotel The legendary Chelsea Hotel, an icon of 1960s counterculture and a haven for famous artists and intellectuals including Patti Smith, Janis Joplin and the superstars of Warhol’s Factory, is under renovation. Soon it will reopen to the public as one of New York’s most fashionable luxury hotels. Dozens of long-term residents, most in their later years, have lived amidst the scaffolding and constant construction for close to a decade.
