Transformers: The Last KnightMovie lovers are in luck this week because the highly anticipated Transformers: The Last Knight opens early this week — on Wednesday rather than the usual Friday opening and it’s available in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. Mark Wahlberg returns in the role of Cade Yeager, who teams up with three others to battle the Transformers. There are also two limited releases and another wide release that open this Friday — including The Bad Batch starring Keanu Reeves, and the documentary The B-Side: Elsa Dorfman’s Portrait Photography.

Transformers: The Last KnightThe Transformers are now at war against Humans, and Autobots leader Optimus Prime is gone. The only way to save the future of the world lies deeply in the past, in the history of Transformers on Earth. If the planet is going to have any chance at being saved, an unlikely alliance must be formed between Cade (Mark Wahlberg) and Bumblebee (Anthony Hopkins). Opening wide. Click here for showtimes.

The B-Side: Elsa Dorfman’s Portrait Photography – A look at the life and work of portrait photographer Elsa Dorfman, who found her medium in the rare photographic format of the larger-than-life Polaroid Land 20×24 camera. Over the next 35 years she captured a wide range of families, Beat poets, musicians (including Bob Dylan), and Harvard notables who visited her studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Opening in Toronto and Vancouver. Click here for showtimes.
