The biggest release this weekend is Violent Night starring Stanger Things star David Harbour as Santa, but that’s not all — scroll down for all the movies opening this weekend across the Canada, both in wide and limited release. ~Alexandra Heilbron

Violent Night – When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (David Harbour) is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint. NCT Dream The Movie: In A Dream – The exhilarating movie includes NCT DREAM on stage and backstage at their second concert held at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul in September 2022. Additionally, the event features a special gift for NCTzens (NCT DREAM’s official fan community) of exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with the seven members of the group (Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung) where they share candid stories and their thoughts and feelings. Hunt – After a high-ranking North Korean official requests asylum, KCIA Foreign Unit chief Park Pyong-ho (Lee Jung-jae) and Domestic Unit chief Kim Jung-do (Jung Woo-sung) are tasked with uncovering a North Korean spy, known as Donglim, who is deeply embedded within their agency. White Noise – At once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.
