Green BookCheck out four new movies releasing on DVD and Blu-ray today, including the Academy Award-winning Best Picture Green Book, inspired by real events.

Green Book – When the nightclub he works at undergoes renovations, Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), a tough Italian-American bouncer, is hired to drive celebrated pianist Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) on a concert tour. The two set out from Manhattan to the Deep South, relying on The Negro Motorist Green Book, a travel guide that highlights restaurants and hotels where black citizens are welcome. Confronted with racism and danger — as well as unexpected humanity and humor — the mismatched pair are forced to set aside their differences.

Mortal Engines – In a post-apocalyptic world in which massive moving cities roam the Earth, ruthlessly preying upon smaller towns, Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar) tries to stop her city’s destined doom. She joins forces with Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan), who is fighting for his own survival, and the pair form an alliance that is destined to change the course of the future.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post – In 1993, high school student Cameron Post (Chloë Grace Moretz) is caught having sexual relations with her best friend on prom night. Cameron is shipped off to “God’s Promise,” a religious gay conversion camp for young people who “struggle with same-sex attraction.” She is forced to endure outlandish discipline, dubious “de-gaying” methods, and earnest Christian rock songs. At the same time she connects with peers, and is able to find her place among fellow outcasts.
