Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Blu-rayAlthough the selection of DVDs/Blu-rays releasing this week is limited, you’ve likely been waiting for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! Whether you saw it in theaters and have been dying to see it again, or you’ve been waiting until the home release, we can say that this movie is one fun ride. If superheroes, ’80s music and adventure aren’t your thing, there is also the indie sci-fi/fantasy thriller, Kill Switch, starring Dan Stevens.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – Hired by the Sovereign to protect Anulax Batteries, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista) and Baby Groot (Vin Diesel) find themselves in hot water when Rocket (Bradley Cooper) steals some. While escaping the wrath of the High Priestess, Peter is contacted by his father, Ego (Kurt Russell), who has his own planet. They travel there so Peter can discover more about him. Meanwhile, Yondu (Michael Rooker) and his Ravagers want the batteries stolen by Rocket.

Kill Switch – When an advanced method of gathering energy, capable of powering a whole city is unleashed, news soon surfaces of a glitch that causes vehicles to disappear and reappear out of thin air. Pilot Will Porter (Dan Stevens) is asked to jump between worlds in the hopes of fixing the issue, but when he arrives, this alternate world is drastically different — plagued by violence and destruction.
