New on DVD: Strangerland, Vendetta and more

StrangerlandNew on DVD this week are a few flicks sure to keep the family entertained, including releases such as Strangerland, Vendetta and more.

In Strangerland, a couple (Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes) find their relationship tested following the sudden disappearance of their two teenage children in the Australian desert. They will fight tooth and nail to get their kids back.

Dean Cain stars in Vendetta, about a detective who learns that the two convicts he put away are going to walk, due to a missing witness. The bad news continues when he commits a criminal act and is arrested. He finds himself behind bars with one of the men, who has been recaptured, and realizes prison is no place for a cop.

Lambert and Stamp is a documentary about Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert, aspiring filmmakers with very different backgrounds who were looking for a subject for their underground movie, which led them to discover, mentor and manage the iconic band that would become known as The Who.

Emily Watson stars in Little BoyThe film follows a seven-year-old boy who will do whatever he can to bring his father home safely from the battlefield during World War II.
