Taken 3Thinking of some down time while relaxing indoors this week? There are some great new DVD releases to entertain you while you kick up your feet and relax.

In the third installment of the Taken series, Taken 3 brings you back into the life of former spy Bryan Mill (Liam Neeson). Bryan’s ex-wife is murdered and when he is framed for the crime he must run from law enforcement while trying to track down the killer and avenge her death. He must do all of this while protecting his daughter.

Maps to the Stars follows Agatha Weiss (Mia Wasikowska), who returns home to Los Angeles after being in a sanatorium. She lands  a job as the assistant of movie star Havana Segrand (Julianne Moore). Her brother is a child star and her father is a TV psychotherapist, who is not happy she has returned home. Agatha sparks a relationship with aspiring actor/screenwriter Jerome (Robert Pattinson), while Havana desperately wants to remake and star in a 1960s film that her mother was in.

In Cake, Claire Simmons (Jennifer Aniston) is in a chronic pain support group, struggling with her own trauma, and becomes obsessed with the suicide of member Nina (Anna Kendrick). Claire investigates the suicide and ends up forming a relationship with the late woman’s husband (Sam Worthington).

Everly is an action film based around the life of Everly (Salma Hayek), as she is being hunted by her ex who is a dangerous mob boss. Everly defends herself in her apartment as assassins hunt her down.

Elizabeth Banks stars in Little Accidents, a film about a small coal town in the U.S. still recovering from a mining accident. A teenage boy disappears, bringing a few people together and wrapping them up in a series of secrets.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night takes place in an Iranian ghost town, Bad City. The city is filled with death and loneliness as a lonely vampire stalks the townspeople.

In Supremacy, a black man and his family are taken captive by a fugitive white supremacist. The man tries to use their similar backgrounds as ex cons to talk him out of harming his family.

In Two Days, One Night, Sandra returns to work at a factory after a mental health leave, only to be laid off. Sandra’s co-workers were given the choice of taking a bonus and letting Sandra go, or keeping her, resulting in her being laid off. Sandra gets permission from her manager to take another vote and sets off to change the minds of her co-workers. ~Erin Stewart
