Nick Jonas is set to make his London theater debut in Les Miserables. The 17-year-old Jonas Brothers singer will play the part of Marius in Britain’s longest-running musical at the Queen’s Theatre in the prestigious West End district for a three-week period starting June 21st. Nick played Gavroche in the Broadway production when he was just 10 years old. Producer Cameron Mackintosh told the Daily Mail: “I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius. We’ve been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star. He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London.” Cameron has praised Nick for his commitment to the production, with his brothers taking a break from their concert tour so that Nick could appear. Cameron explained: “He has bent over backwards to fit it all into his schedule.”
