Rapping songstress Nicki Minaj surprised two of her youngest fans on Tuesday during a visit to the The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The star, who is slated to provide a voice for in the upcoming flick Ice Age: Continental Drift, first took notice of eight-year-old Sophia Grace and five-year-old Rosie when she saw their YouTube cover of her hit song “Super Bass.” Clearly impressed by the video’s star, Sophie Grace, Minaj tweeted, “…no seriously! I HAVE to meet her. She is a SUPERSTAR!!! Like did you hear how she sang the bridge? The attitude? OMG!” Fast forward a few days later, and the British pint-sized duo were appearing on DeGeneres’ talk show to re-create the viral clip, which has received over 7 million views. Decked out in matching princess outfits, the girls screamed with excitement when, to their surprise, Minaj walked out on stage. The highly stylized star promised to send the girls on a shopping spree before performing with them. Minaj expressed to DeGeneres how impressed she was by the YouTube performance commenting, “Within five seconds of seeing this video, I was calling everyone I knew and I was also receiving a billion emails. Everyone is like, ‘You have to see this little girl.’ She blew me away!” Check out the video of Minaj performing with her young fans. ~S. Jackson

The New York Times reports that The Ellen DeGeneres show has lost over 1 million viewers since its return from a hiatus following its toxic workplace scandal.
I sent this video into Ellen, these kids are so cute and totally amazing to watch I love that song, it is now stuck in my head.
Minaj is starting to go all GaGa with her style now? but good for her for helping further promote her name/brand and make her look like such a nice person to a couple kids.
