Nicolas Cage’s son arrested and tested

Nicolas Cage‘s 20-year-old son Weston Cage was arrested following a violent altercation at a restaurant. He was at The Farmer’s Kitchen in Hollywood just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday when he flew into a rage and began attacking his trainer when he was told he couldn’t eat a certain item on the menu. The trainer was able to hold Weston down, and another person tried to help to calm him, but Weston continued to “freak out,” according to onlookers. When police arrived, they threatened to taser him if he didn’t get on the ground and lie quietly. Weston complied and was handcuffed, strapped to a gurney and taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a mental evaluation and a possible 5150 psychiatric hold. When asked, restaurant workers said he appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the altercation. Weston reportedly had a stormy argument with his wife of two months, Nikki Williams, which may have had led to his behavior later in the day. Weston is Nicolas’ son with former girlfriend Christina Fulton. The elder Cage arrived at the hospital yesterday evening and according to sources, has cleared his schedule so he can stay near his son.

Father like son. Wow this kid even looks like he has issues. But then again don’t judge a book by it’s cover. But to flip out on a personal trainer over a menu item…um he pays the trainer to tell him what she, I mean he, can and cannot eat. But on a side note if there was an issue with his wife at least he seems to have tekn it out on someone his size and gender rather than his wife!

what ! who doesn’t fault at times? so what, big deal nicholas has a son!we all have children.just all not from famous personnel. this is a situation regarding his sons untimely issues in a public place( however uncool this may seem)!obviously this issue was dealt with properly. as for nicholas, he’s being a dad . so let him be there to settle this situation privately with his son. just because you’re famous doesn’t mean your offspring’s fault should be yours to shoulder through the storm. good for you nicholas for supporting your son, no matter the cost!i think family/ private matters shouldn’t be displayed publically to the demeanor of the famous. after all underneath it all they are like us(but with better jobs)!lolkeep being a dad, nicholas cage.
I think that with a good hair cut and a big smile on his face he wouldn’t look half bad. He has nice intense blue eyes like his dad but I hope he doesn’t talk whiney like Nic does.

It’s so sad these days. How we judge them by there parents or by the way they look. Very sad. Don’t think that’s the way anybody was brought up to judge by the way they look. Some people need to loosen up and wait and see what has happened. And we weren’t there so how can anybody judge Weston.
Let’s hope he gets the help he needs and we don’t see another young life go down the tubes.

Stuff happens, and just because Nic Cage is a celebrity, it becomes “news”
I hope that Weston can get some help so that he doesn’t have an ongoing problem with “rage”. And good for Nic for being there for his son, it’s what we would all do isn’t it? Tell me that you haven’t had some problems, even minor ones, with your grown kids. We just have to deal.
You know, they are human like the rest of us. Why do people not understand that. The kid could have a lot of issues being the son of one of the most famous actors of our time. I would to see anyone handle that gracefully all the time. It may not be as easy as it seems. Now, with that said, it does not give Weston Cage the right to do what he did. Far from it. I think it was handled exactly the way it should have. It may have happened because of drugs and/or alcohol, but maybe a mild psychotic episode, or both. When it comes to Nicholas Cage, that is his son, and will do whatever is needed to help his son. And to those of you who feel that they have a right to make spiteful comments about Nicholas Cage and his son, are you jealous that it is not you who is the famous actor or his son??? GET A LIFE!!!!

Why would a trainer take someone to a restaurant that served food he didn’t want the person eating? And why (unless the person was a severe diabetic or had allergies)would a grown man not be allowed to eat what he wants?

Personnally I think that it is very sad and that Weston must have some great issues to deal with and with the level of stress that he must endure from his fathers job…I doubt that we would not have the same problems if we had the same upbringing. Not easy being the son or daughter of….anybody who is famous. Let just get a reality check here and not condamned a trouble young mind who is looking for some answers.

Walk a mile in their shoes before you judge someone. I cannot imagine a life in the “limelight” ALL THE TIME being fun or fair. To judge someone when you know absolutely nothing about them is, to say the least, totally and ridiculously outrageous. Look around yourself and point your fingers where they belong. 3t90ig” like most girls, I find guys with long hair and that wear makeup very unattractive. No guy should wear eyeliner, im entitled to my opinion and he is a really ugly guy. You probly look like this guy since you seem offended.
He may have also been suffering from hypoglycemia at the time. It can cause a person to become extremely hungry, irrational and short fused. It could also explain the apparent ‘drunken state’. Don’t have to be an insulin dependent diabetic to have your blood sugars drop into your boots. I’ve had people yell and strike out during a reaction.
People are so damn judgemental especially with regards to those they do not know! When did the job description of actor include zero privacy? As for the negative comments regarding a person’s physical looks; not only are they short-sighted and full of ignorance, it should be remembered that beauty comes from within and if you are happy with yourself, you will be beautiful on both the inside and out. I would love to see some pics of those who were so openly ignorant.
