Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman, who’s getting a name for accepting roles and then dropping out of them (Panic Room, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Producers and Manderlay, to name a few), has pulled out of Woody Allen‘s latest movie, in which she would have starred alongside Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins and her best friend, Naomi Watts. The untitled film was due to begin filming in London this summer. In the meantime, Kidman has shot a new television commercial in India for Schweppes, alongside Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali, directed by Shekhar Kapur and produced by Ridley Scott.

She must be holding out for something bigger…but I dont know what could be better than a new Woody Allen film. Although Woody Allen has kind of been making garbage lately like Scoop for example, but the cast of this latest sounds pretty interesting. Lets give it up for Anthony Hopkins hes been making awesome movies lately, cant wait for The Wolfman.

Just think, if she wouldn’t have dropped out of the role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, would Brad and Jen still be married? Or, maybe Nicole would have become Mrs. Pitt….

HA HA HA HA HA !!!!! nancy, i read this article before i even clicked on it, and you totally read my mind !!!! also, i really truly believe that the chemistry and sexiness of mr and mrs smith would have been ruined if she was the main actress. i am glad she backed out of it. and was she supposed to play jody fosters part in panic room? those are the only ones i saw out of that list, and i cant picture her being half as good as the people that took over those roles. dont get me wrong, i do like nicole kidman, but she isnt half the actress that jody foster or angelina jolie are.
