No Strings Attached ties up box office

The romantic comedy No Strings Attached, starring Golden Globe winner Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, debuted at the top of the North American box office on the weekend, taking in $20.3 million (all figures U.S.) and earning a 3.6 star (out of 5) rating from Tribute users. Last weekend’s top movie, The Green Hornet, was pushed to second place with estimated earnings of $18.1 million in its second weekend. Tribute users rated it 3.9 out of 5 stars. The Dilemma was bumped to third from second place in its second weekend, with $9.7 million and a Tribute user rating of 2.9 stars. The Golden Globe-winning film The King’s Speech, which has a Tribute user rating of 4.6 stars, held onto the fourth place spot on the charts, earning an additional $9.16 million for a nine-week total of $58.62 million. The critically-acclaimed True Grit (Tribute user rating 4.2 stars), rounded out the top five, taking in an additional $8 million for an eight-week take of $138.63 million.

    I’ve seen facebook update statuses from friends that went and saw it..seems nobody has anything bad to say about it. In real life I actually know 2 people who were only friends and it worked out they had benefits and next thing you know they get married. It can work people.
