Orange is the New Black picked up for fourth season

Uzo Aduba and Taylor SchillingGreat news today for fans of the critically acclaimed series Orange is the New Black. Netflix has announced that the show will be returning for a fourth season.

Netflix also released a first-look clip of the third season, which exclusively premieres on the streaming site on June 12. Season four will likely be released in June 2016.

The comedy-drama, which premiered in July 2013, takes place in Litchfield Correctional Institution and follows the story of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a woman  sentenced to  prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime.

The series has won more than 20 awards including three Emmy Awards, two SAG Awards, two AFI honors, and  three Critic’s Choice Television Awards.

Watch  a brand new clip from season three! In the clip, Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) and Poussey (Samira Wiley) discuss whether drug dealer Vee (Lorraine Toussaint) is still alive after getting hit by a car in last season’s finale.
