Oscar nominations announced – Full list of 2021 nominees!

Oscars 2021The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the 93rd Oscars this morning (March 15, 2021). Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas read out the nominations across a total of 23 categories from London, England.

This has been a difficult year for the movie industry, with COVID-19 forcing studios to delay their releases and theaters shutting down, and so this year the nominees include movies released in theaters and movies released on streaming services.

Almost all the Best Picture nominees scored an impressive six nominations, but Mank received an outstanding 10 nods, including two in acting categories as well as for Best Director.

The ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, but also at Los Angeles’ railway hub, Union Station.

The 93rd annual Academy Awards ceremony is set to take place on Sunday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will be televised live.
