Paul McCartney wants to marry again

By Alexandra Heilbron on January 13, 2010 | 9 Comments

Paul McCartneyDespite having gone through a nasty divorce battle with Heather Mills, Paul McCartney, 67, hasn’t soured on the idea of getting hitched, even though he’s referred to his marriage to Mills as one of the biggest mistakes of his life. According to Orange News, the former Beatle is preparing to wed his 48-year-0ld girlfriend of two years, heiress Nancy Shevell. A source told Britain’s Daily Express, “Paul and Nancy’s relationship is rock solid and there’s no mad hurry for a wedding. Next year has certainly been mentioned as the most likely time, but neither of them want some big hoo-ha (fuss). It’s almost certainly going to be done very discreetly over in the U.S. and Paul would ideally like to do it without any publicity beforehand. Whether he could pull that off is another matter.” ~Alexandra Heilbron

he should stop thinking about marrying again! It is just waste of money and time of his!! plus he is not young anymore! can someone tell him please!!

g..If Paul wants to get married again,I believe that’s up to him!The woman he is engaged to has her own money,I would imagine after his last marriage disaster, they will both have a air tight prenup. Why should his age matter, older people need to feel love and give love just as much ,if not more than younger people, male/female.They have the same needs and desires for sex and companionship as the younger, males/females do!!If this is what will make him and his partner happy, then I say go for it!!!Congratulation’s to them!!!!!

I think that at this point, at his age, as long as he has a pre-nup in place that does protect him somewhat, that he doesn’t really care about the money much anymore. It’s all about committing and spending the rest of his life with that special someone. That’s all he ever wanted and he had that up until Linda passed. He’s been looking for that ever since. He’s so rich that the money part of it don’t matter.

Agreed, but isn’t he one of the ones that said he doesn’t believe in pre-nup? Maybe he has changed his mind since Heather. He seems so genuine, I really hope he will find someone he can be happy with and spend the rest of his life with. He and Linda seemed like such a perfect pair.

I’m happy for Sir Paul. If this is what will make him happy then more power to him. I saw him in Halifax last summer and it was the thrill of my life.

Just want to let him know that if he’s not sure about this lady, I know I could make him VERY happy. I’d even sign his prenup!
