Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have officially ended their romance. In June it was reported the pair had decided to spend some time apart to re-evaluate their relationship. A representative for Rachel has now confirmed the couple have gone their separate ways after more than two years together. “Yes, the engagement is off, therefore, so is the wedding,” the spokesperson said yesterday. Rachel and Hayden announced their engagement in February 2009. However, the actress sparked speculation the romance was on the rocks after she appeared without her diamond ring on the red carpet of a Los Angeles event a couple of months ago. They apparently disagreed on where to live. Hayden, 29, who was born and raised in Canada, had already begun construction on a farm house in Uxbridge, Ontario, while Rachel wanted to remain in Los Angeles with her family.

Rachel Bilson named her child after a Disney character. The Hart of Dixie star—who welcomed daughter Briar Rose with partner Hayden Christensen in October 2014—is such a fan of the company’s films that she couldn’t resist but to name her little girl…

Rachel Bilson was a "dumb ass" during her time on ‘The O.C’.The 31-year-old actress shot to fame as Summer Roberts in the teen drama which launched in 2003 but admitted if she could go back and change how she was during her time on the show,…
I wouldn’t want to leave LA either, to live on a farm in hicksville.
For a beautiful girl, she really has odd choices for boyfriends. The one before this was her totally geeky O.C. co-star.
uxbridge is far from hicksville. It’s only a half hour north of toronto. just you know. cuz clearly you don’t…
tru to the first comment. clearly you dont know nothing about canada, so shut ur mouth

Hi amanda #2. Not only have I lived in Canada my whole life, I drive through Uxbridge at least 3 times a week. It’s hicksville, folks. Someone from LA, with warm, perfect weather and lots of stuff going on all the time is no way going to want to settle on a farm in Uxbridge. Oh, and it’s not a half hour from Toronto. It’s an hour (not in rush hour, that would be more like 90 minutes), believe me, I drive it all the time. If it was 1/2 an hour, more people would want to live there so they could commute but it’s out of commuting range for most people.
Good thing she called it off. It’s obvious she doesn’t really love this guy after all.If she did she wouldn’t care where they lived as long as they were together. Gee are they not flying from Toronto to L.A. anymore?
Personally, there is NO way I’d live in LA.
If the crime dosen’t kill yah, the heavy smog will.
Bilson has a history of dating co-stars. She’s like Jennifer Aniston but not famous. As for Amanda #1, its a 1/2 hour drive leaving Uxbridge to T.O. unless you use the reliable family tractor, that’s a little slower
Smurfed, there is no way to get to Uxbridge from Toronto in 1/2 hour unless you’re starting from the farthest north point of Toronto (Willowdale or Scarborough) and go about 200 km per hour during a time of day when there’s no traffic. Otherwise, going north from Toronto, you’ll get to Gormley in 1/2 hour, depending on your starting point (Unlike Uxbridge, when you drive through Toronto, it takes awhile, so if you’re coming from the south end, it’ll take an hour just to get out of the city to Markham). I drive north on the 404 from the north end of Toronto every day and I reach Gormley at the half hour mark if I’m lucky. It’s another 1/2 hour at least to get to Uxbridge, if traffic isn’t bad. Either you never drive it, or you don’t have a job and drive only when there is no traffic and well above the speed limit.
Amanda, shut up. No one cares that you drive to Uxbridge everyday, it’s probably a huge lie anyways. It is not hicksville at all, just because it doesn’t have the same population as Toronto or L.A. So shut your mouth.
You’re absolutely right, Brit. Living in Uxbridge is totally just like living in L.A. I don’t know what Bilson was bitching about. ;P
Uxbridge is definitely Hicksville, folks. I love it how people from small towns like to deny the fact that their town is a small town and full of hicks. There is a big difference between LA and Uxbridge, and Uxbridge is not in Toronto, lol.
Uxbridge is very much a bedroom community for many people like Hayden that wanted to have more land and a more relaxed life…albeit on weekends for the commuters.
if you think Uxbridge is a “hicksville” you obvously have never been to Zephyr where Hayden ACTUALLY lives
To all of you chirping Uxbridge: As a long time resident I can tell you it’s sure as a hell not as hick as you think it is. Sure we farm, but that doesnt mean anything. It’s a quaint little town that I’m sure they would love to live in during there off season to get away from “Hollywood”. But even I wouldn’t want to live here full time in my thirties, maybe when it was time to settle down.
