Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen split

Canadian-born actress Rachel McAdams, 34, and British actor Michael Sheen, 44, have ended their relationship after two and a half years of being together. They publicly announced their romance in October 2010 after starring together in Woody Allen’s film Midnight in Paris. In January 2012, McAdams shared with The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine that she and Sheen didn’t start dating until after they’d completed filming the movie – not dating co-stars is something she feels strongly about. She also believes good communication is key to making a relationship work: “You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.” Despite finding love in the most romantic city on Earth, The Vow actress is now back on the market. McAdams and Sheen have previously both had relationships with celebrity A-listers. Sheen and actress Kate Beckinsale had an eight-year relationship which produced daughter Lily, 14. McAdams’ last serious relationship was with her The Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling. ~E. Guevarra

I like C-Dub’s comment haha It didn’t apply when she filmed Sherlock Holmes though. An affair with Robert Downey Jr. sure would have a dramatic ending. But hello, she’s a hottie! She’ll find someone in no time 🙂
