Revolution, the new film by Rob Stewart (pictured at left in a scene from the film), has won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Atlantic Film Festival, it was announced this morning. Other award winners include Blackbird for Best Atlantic Feature. Blackbird also won Best Atlantic Director and Best Atlantic Screenwriter for Jason Buxton. Ashley McKenzie won Best Atlantic Emerging Director for When You Sleep and Best Atlantic Cinematographer was won by Jeff Wheaton for Gravity and Grace. Low Life won the Audience Award for Best Feature. Rob Stewart is now headed to Sudbury, where Revolution will be screening this Saturday September 22 at 1:30 p.m. at SilverCity Sudbury. Congratulations Rob!! This was a fabulous movie…I saw it in Torotno during TIFF and it’s definitely something we need to be showing all of our young people!
